Global News (WNN) - At 6:17 EST, Cloudflare reported issues with its support portal, causing customers to be unable to reach it. For those who don’t know, Cloudflare is a global-scale Content Delivery Network (CDN). A CDN makes sure your sites load quickly and you receive the intended content, not viruses or other internet issues.
This has effected many sites across the planet, including prominent names such as X and ChatGPT, according to news sources like Fox and CNBC. The outage also included our own site, wisenewsnetwork.com. As reported on their status page at 6:48 EST, they initiated an investigation into the problem.
At 8:09 AM, they found the issue and began resolving it. Users of WARP (A type of VPN) in London experienced internet access loss due to Cloudflare temporarily disabling access to WARP. Nine minutes later, WARP was restored, and Cloudflare believes it has resolved all global network issues as of 9:42 AM. However, certain aspects of the system are still experiencing degraded performance.
As of 9:57 AM, Cloudflare has reported that some users are still unable to access the dashboard, which means it may not be possible to report any issues if you encounter one. Most sites should have returned to regular working order by now, but Cloudflare is still working on resolving the issue, including performance degradation in some aspects of their CDN.
This means that if your favorite websites seem to be malfunctioning, the issues should now be resolved. If not, a fix should be available shortly.
