Gaston County NC Shelter Opens As Voluntary Evacuations Take Place Ahead Of Helene

Gaston County, NC (WNN)—According to a press release from Gaston County, a shelter has opened at the Citizens Resource Center in Dallas, NC, located at 1303 Dallas Cherryville Highway. The shelter became operational at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 26. This decision was made in response to voluntary evacuations in neighborhoods in Lowell and Mount Holly.
