Metal Haunts the Pyramids: The Devil's Fork Metal Festival
Owners of the Haunted Pyramids, Greg and Tony Cooke, hosted the first annual Devil's Fork Metal Festival from October 13th to the 15th on site at the Haunted Pyramids in Lawndale, NC. The Festival hosted many bands such as First Jason, Cronic Disorder, & Blood Butcher. Guitar Wishes Fund Raiser for Veterans Despite Dis Agreement
Roger Calhoun, the owner of Guitar Wishes and its connected studio, worked with Guitars 4 Vets to make their fundraiser album a reality. This Saturday (October 21, 2023) during the Lincolnton, NC Apple Festival Guitar Wishes will be selling the album 'That's Why We Stand' from inside their store and giving tours of the studio where it was made!   The Symphony of Rutherford County presented this during their 35th Anniversary concert, and now we've got it to present to the world! One of the most notable Beethoven Symphonies is Symphony 7 and the Allegretto has a somber but hopeful tone.Â

This was the opening piece for the 35th anniversary concert and is composed by Robert W. Smith. This piece embodies a ferocious storm, with a brief moment of peace in the eye before not only returning to but surpassing the earlier gale.Â
