Moss Lake – Kings Mountain, NC

  • Just 20 minutes from Cherryville, Moss Lake is perfect for a classic lake day. If you want to explore the lake, make sure to bring your own kayak or paddleboard. This lake is home to bass and crappie, so don’t forget to bring your rod if you plan to go fishing. So pack your lunch, bring sunscreen, and enjoy a peaceful day outdoors. Tony’s Ice Cream – Gastonia, NC

  • A local favorite just 30 minutes away, Tony’s is a classic ice cream shop, cooling off generations. Grab a milkshake or banana split and take a break from the heat. For more information, click here.

Local YMCA Pools – Cherryville, Kings Mountain, Dover, Ruby C. Hunt

South Mountain State Park – Connelly Springs, NC

Ray’s Splash Planet – Charlotte, NC
