Cherryville, NC (WNN) - The Ironmen wrestling team competed in two end-of-season tournaments. The NCHSAA Dual Team Series 2A tournament was held at East Wilkes High School on February 10, 2026. The NCHSAA 1A/2A West Regional Individuals Meet was held at North Rowan High School in Spencer, NC, on February 13-14, 2026. Senior wrestlers closing out their careers were Alvin Ibarra, Kaleb Pendleton, and Kenny Waters. Two managers are also seniors, Grace Wells and Alex Willis.
Individual final records for team members are Geovanny Martinez 32-11, Kenny Waters 19-17, Holden Walker 21-15, Bryson Yarbro 11-18, Mason Powers 37-15, Kaleb Pendleton 34-8, John Hedgpeth 15-31, and Maddox Carrigan 37-11.
