Ironmen Golf, Soccer, and Tennis Recap Week Ending 4-2-26

Posted

Cherryville, NC (WNN) - The Cherryville golf team has been having a successful season; the soccer team had a week of mixed results; and the tennis team won both matches. The teams will be off for a week for Spring Break, then return to action in mid-April.

Golf

The golf team is very young this year, with only one senior, Colton Robinson. Although this team has many young players, the season has been successful to date. They are playing at a level more indicative of an experienced team.  The Ironmen have played 5 matches so far this season and have finished 2nd three times and 3rd twice. Each match was a conference match with all nine teams in competition.
