Fire in Forest City Burns Down Historic Building

Forest City, NC (WNN) - Firefighters from multiple departments were dispatched Monday evening, August 31, around 5 p.m. to extinguish a structure fire in a long-standing vacant building on 110 West Main Street in Forest City, NC.

The building used to be home to Farmers Hardware, which stood for over 100 years before becoming vacant.
