Cherryville, NC (WNN) - On September 26, 2026, the Cherryville Marching Ironmen will be hosting their newest idea for a fundraiser. This is the Cherryville High School Marching Band Sportscard & Toy Show. Proceeds will help gather money for things like instrument repairs, drum heads, and help bring this season’s halftime show, “Dragon Hunt,” to its fullest.
The students and band booster parents are known for their hard work in fundraising, with the group being a common sight at the Cherryville Fire Department for car washes. They have also recently begun hosting a car and bike show. They hope to add this event as another annual program for locals to enjoy.
If you're a vendor of crafts, comics, anime, toys, cards, plushies, oddities, baked and canned goods, or collector memorabilia, mark your calendars for September 26, 2026, when the band will host this from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM that Saturday. Entries are $40.00 per table, and the show will be at Cherryville High School, located at 313 Ridge Ave, Cherryville, NC. Vendors who are interested can sign up by calling:
Tommy Berryann - (704) 718 2549
Robin Berryann - (704) 718 2550
The event will also have an entry fee of $5.00, with those 12 and under entering for free.
The marching band will also be hosting its Alumni Night on September 18, 2026. This is for all Cherryville High School band alums, where they can play in the stands with their Alma Mater's newest generation. This and the current show will help prep them for their upcoming competition season beginning in October.
