Authorities Respond to Reported Self-Inflicted Gunshot at Gaston County Courthouse

Gastonia, NC (WNN)- Multiple units are on scene at the Gaston County Courthouse on Tuesday afternoon after a reported fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The incident occurred around 2:28 p.m.  Law enforcement, EMS, and county officials are securing the area and investigating the incident. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
