Spruce Pine, NC (WNN)—On Saturday, June 14th, 2025, downtown Spruce Pine, NC was full of UFO fans, curious visitors, and locals for the 4th Annual Spruce Pine Alien Festival. The festival, held from 9 AM until 7 PM, turned Oak Avenue into a lively, mile-long event celebrating everything alien-themed.

Local restaurants and shops got into the festival spirit. Some downtown businesses stayed open later which brought in a steady flow of customers.

There were quite a few diverse vendors at the event. Among those present were Disinform Brand Tees & Hoodies, which sold alien-themed clothes. The Saranghae Studio which had its unique celestial gifts and jewelry. Hempy Daze which sold hemp products, and The Traveling C Turtles Laserworks which showcased hand-crafted laser designs.

Although rain was initially predicted, the sun was out most of the day, providing great weather for the outdoor festival. The area quickly came alive with people dressed in creative alien costumes.
