Shelby, NC (WNN) – The law firm of Teddy, Meekins & Talbert, 1219 Fallston Road in Shelby, NC, held a press conference on 9/13/2024. During the press conference, Attorney David R. Teddy, who represents 80-year-old Roy Lee Dedmon, spoke about the recent search warrant in connection with Asha Degree’s disappearance. Dedmon’s properties have been investigated by FBI, SBI, and Cleveland County Sheriff’s officers recently, sparking a frenzy of public speculation.

Teddy said the search warrant for Dedmon’s properties “will link a person to the circumstances of Asha’s disappearance that is no longer living.”

Teddy went on to say that “Roy and his family have maintained that they are not involved in the disappearance of Asha Degree and have no information about her disappearance that will help law enforcement.”
