Cherryville, NC (WNN) – Susan McFarland is the winner of the 2024 Cherryville Lotta Burger Contest prize! She and her mother Helen McFarland stopped by the WNN Studios on June 7th 2024 to receive the $50 cash prize.

The McFarlands are native to Cherryville. Helen stills lives in Cherryville and Susan a 1979 Cherryville High School graduate lives in Raleigh NC after graduating from NC State University.  

The Lotta Burger Contest held by Wise News Network from March 5th to May 15th had over 400 entries from several states for the prize. Of the 8 restaurants serving the lotta burger, the top 3 were; The Shake Shop (1st place), Mac’s Grill (2nd place) and Black’s Grill (3rd place).ย
