CJA Jeeps Invade Cherryville

Cherryville, NC (WNN) – If you saw many jeeps in the Cherryville area last Saturday, July 20th, don’t be alarmed. It was the Carolina Jeep Alliance with Jeep members from the Gaston County Area.ย
While in Cherryville, the Carolina Jeep Alliance visited Caputo’s Pizza for lunch, Wise News Network Studios for a studio tour, and Wise Electric Control Inc. – Mister Sparky Facilities for a tour. They finished with a dessert from the Fuzzy Cow and took photo opportunities at downtown Cherryville’s colorful and historic murals.
While in the area, they also visited Moss Lake, just a few miles from Cherryville, to take in the beauty of the lake.ย
Carolina Jeep Alliance, which now has 204 members, was formed on July 10th, 2024, for like-minded Jeep owners passionate about supporting local charities and businesses in the Great Gaston Area.
In addition to past events like Cherryville’s visit, they meet the last Thursday of each month at Bubba’s 33 in Gastonia, NC. This event gives 10% of food sales to a qualified 501(c)(3) charity of their choosing. The last event donations in June and July were raised for Suds of Love Truck and Special Olympics of North Carolina, respectively.
Upcoming CJA events include a fun event at Green River Tubing in Saluda, NC, in August and the Love Like Lauren Foundation Jeep Show and Shine event on September 7th. CJA is a Gold Sponsor for the Love Like Lauren event, which will be held at Legacy Church, 2316 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054. They will be helping with check-in, parking, selling merchandise, t-shirts, and bracelets, and supporting the 6th Annual event overall.

- Own a Jeep of any make or modelย
- Enjoy good fellowship and give back to the community
- Tread lightly is the way of life for Jeepers. We want to keep our areas in superb shape for others to enjoy. We will always leave places better than we found them.
- Be willing to support local charities and uplift others through jeeping fun and fellowship.ย
