USA Picks Trump For President: NC Picks Stein For Governor

Gaston County, NC (WNN) – Former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, emerged victorious in the race for president as voters across the nation made their voices heard in Tuesday’s election. The former president secured a significant win in North Carolina. While North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein won the governor’s race as the Democrat candidate, defeating Mark Robinson.
Trump’s Strong Showing in North Carolina
Trump led by a wide margin in North Carolina, receiving approximately 51.4% of the vote statewide, compared to 47.7% for Kamala Harris. In Gaston County the average was notably higher with Trump receiving 61.97% of the ballots. The former president’s victory was driven by his strength in rural and suburban areas, as well as a solid turnout in traditionally Republican counties. The numbers reflect a similar pattern seen across the country, where Trump maintained a firm lead in battleground states like North Carolina. Josh Stein Elected as Governor of North Carolina
In the race for governor, Attorney General Josh Stein defeated Mark Robinson to become the next Governor of North Carolina. It took less than an hour for the networks to call the race for Stein. North Carolina polls closed at 7:30. By 8:30, Stein was declared the winner. As of November 2, Stein was ahead of Robinson by more than 10 points in ten different national polls.

When people showed up to help, no one asked whether they were Republicans or Democrats. We will show up and help our neighbors rebuild and become safer and stronger than ever.”
Gaston County NC Election Results
The county favored the Republican party heavily with all contests involving parties resulting in a Republican popular vote. Gaston County was also in line with NC’s amendment for “citizens-only voting” with the area voting 83.24% in favor of it compared to the 77.59% statewide. Out of 162218 registered voters Gaston County had 118850 ballots cast.
