Cherryville Gets Stronger with Goins Strong Fitness

Cherryville, NC (WNN) – Not only have buildings in downtown Cherryville been remodeled and rebuilt, but now residents can also work on rebuilding themselves. The newly opened Goins Strong Fitness gym held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 5th, 2024, at 326 East Main Street in Cherryville.
During the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting, Cherryville officials spoke, including Chamber Chairman Peter Craft, Downtown/Economic Director David Day, and City Manager Brian Dalton. They welcomed everyone, including the owners, Bradley and Jessica Goins, to downtown Cherryville.
The Cherryville Goins Strong Fitness is the second gym location for the couple, with the first one being in Dallas, NC, where they have lived since 2009. The Dallas, NC, location has been operating under the same name for the past seven years. Memberships will permit using facilities at both the Dallas and Cherryville locations.
Bradley, a 2004 West Lincoln High School graduate with an Electrical Engineering Degree, and Jessica, a 2002 Cherryville High School graduate and a registered nurse, met as teenagers while working at the Cherryville YMCA. “It’s incredible how far we’ve come from having exercise equipment in our garage to this,” Jessica stated.
The new Cherryville location has plenty of equipment to get you in shape, healthier, and stronger. Bradley stated, “We have equipment that the YMCA doesn’t have and cater to a slightly different customer demographic. We have equipment that you just can’t get anymore”.
The couple, both personal trainers, aim to create a welcoming environment for people to enjoy going to the gym, working out, and achieving their fitness goals without being tied to a membership contract with hidden fees. The monthly membership fee is $35, with no contract or hidden costs. They also offer other pricing packages. Once you become a member, you can access the gym(s) through a mobile app.
The recently renovated 4,000-square-foot space has been given a fresh look and is equipped with new bathrooms. The spacious front parking area is a bonus. The building’s owner is Oasis Real Estate Group LLC, and the registered agent is local resident Seth L. Harrelson.
The Goins Strong Fitness Cherryville location will host a meet-and-greet with Bradley and Jessica Goins on Saturday, September 7th, from 9 AM to 12 PM. The event will feature prizes and a $500 referral raffle.
