CLEVELAND COUNTY, NC (WNN) – A fire started in a rural area of Cleveland County on Monday, March 11, 2024 at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Sador Street. The incident occurred on residential property, however, the home was not the source of the blaze.ย 

An outbuilding caught fire behind the residence; it is a total loss. No one was injured. 

Eye witnesses reported that trees behind the structure were also on fire. Chief Brent Gordon of the Waco Community Fire Department said the cause is unknown. 

He also said the fire was fully involved upon the department’s arrival. The Cleveland County Fire Department is still investigating this incident.ย
