Professional-Level Wrestling

The independent extreme sports organization prioritizes presentation, using professional lighting rigs to create custom light shows for each match. The crew outfits the ring in their signature black and blue colors, featuring their logo prominently at center stage. With multi-camera coverage capturing every moment, Wrestling Evolution strives to deliver a top-tier experience.

Tim Dixon, the Executive Producer of Wrestling Evolution, said,

"We do it because we're passionate about it. We put our blood, sweat, and tears into this."

That dedication is on full display in the ring, with dramatic wrestler entrances and intense rivalries. Every match is designed to thrill, combining athleticism with storytelling that keeps fans on the edge of their seats.

Building The Roster

Since 2023, Wrestling Evolution has sourced talent by reaching out through social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, as well as scouting wrestlers at local events. According to Tim Wilcox, the Owner and CEO of Wrestling Evolution, the promotion features performers from both the local area and out of state, including South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. Wilcox noted that Wrestling Evolution is always looking to bring new faces into the ring.

Outside of their scheduled matches, wrestlers continue honing their skills at regional training facilities, including Firestar Performance Center in Greensboro, AML in Winston-Salem, Team Fearless in Pineville, and Palmetto Wrestling Academy in Columbia, SC. Some performers have even trained at the New Japan Dojo in California, adding to a diverse range of experience to the roster.

More Than Just A Match

Dixon explained that preparing for the New Year's Evolution Match meant arriving at 9 a.m. to set up, with the event starting at 7 p.m. and wrapping up around midnight. He emphasized that there's far more behind-the-scenes work than casual fans realize, noting that preparations for the show began months in advance.

When asked about the future of Wrestling Evolution, Dixon did not hesitate, saying the ultimate goal is for everyone, wrestlers and crew alike, to be working full-time.

What's Next For Wrestling Evolution?

Their next match, scheduled for January 31, will be held at the Lincolnton National Guard Armory, located at 1224 N. Aspen St, Lincolnton, NC 28092, and is titled "Love Is Pain."
