Cherryville, NC (WNN) - Shady Grove Baptist Church, located at 3240 Tryon Courthouse Road, plans to serve a Thanksgiving meal on Saturday, November 15, at 12:30 p.m. The church invites everyone in the community to join. This meal is open to those without a place to celebrate the holiday, anyone who may be alone during Thanksgiving, and anyone in need.
The meal will take place in the Shady Grove Family Life Center. Guests are invited to dine in and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal, sharing in the blessings of the season. The message is simple: Come as you are and bring a friend.
This meal is hosted by the Shady Grove Baptist Men's and Ladies' Ministries. They planned the meal to welcome and connect with neighbors from all over the community.
All are welcome to attend; it is on a first-come, first-served basis, as long as it lasts.
