Cherryville, NC (WNN) - On Sunday, June 28, 2026, a female driver crashed into an electrical utility pole around 6:30 AM near the intersection of West Church Street and Delview Road in Cherryville, NC.
According to authorities, the driver was possibly distracted at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported.
The crash prompted a road closure on Highway 150 (West Church St), with detours available at Delview Road and Paul H. Beam Road while utility crews repair the damaged poles. Repairs are expected to be completed this afternoon.
