Cherryville ABC Proposed Budget 2026-27

Cherryville, NC (WNN) - The Cherryville ABC Alcoholic Beverage Board will hold its annual budget hearing for the 2026-27 budget year.  The public hearing will be held on June 24th, 2026, at 4 PM at the Cherryville ABC store, located at 112-A North Cherry Street, Cherryville, NC. 

Key Highlights in the Proposed Budget:

1. Projected revenues represent an increase of approximately 2.0 % for 2026-2027.
2. Total cost of goods sold equals approximately 55% of the estimated operating revenues.
3. The General Manager is the only full-time positon on the payroll along with 10 part-time
employees and have included built in raises and hourly pay increases for our employees.
4. The amount of $3,000 has been set aside for contingency expenses.
5. The board and governing body has approved a monthly contribution of $1,000 toward capital
improvement for new parking lot for 3 years beginning July 1st 2026.
